A friend of mine once said, “The best thing a family can do is have the ability to eat dinner together.”
I’ve always found that sentiment to be true.
When I go out with friends and family, I often find that it’s very hard to sit down and share dinner with everyone.
I’ve been trying to make that easier for myself and my family by making it easier for the average person to eat delicious food.
To that end, I’ve created recipes that have all been designed to make eating dinner at home as simple as possible.
For those of you who may be wondering how to make your own, here are a few easy steps to get started.
What you’ll need: 1 large dinner plate, like a large dinner table, to accommodate all your meals.
(A regular table is fine too, but I find it easier to cook in the kitchen.)
A small bowl, a dish towel, or napkin.
A cutting board or a chopping board.
A small pot.
A food processor or a whisk.
A paper towel.
A few forks or knives.
A bowl of chopped vegetables.
A big serving bowl or a pot with a lid.
(If you’re having a lot of guests, a small bowl and a spoon will be ideal.)
A spoon or a bowl of cereal.
A salad spinner.
A measuring cup.
A glass or stainless steel measuring cup with a spout.
A cupcake pan.
(Optional: a large cake pan with a frosting base and a topping for a simple and delicious cake.)
A large plate for serving your meals (like a bowl or plate for dinner).
Some of the other things you’ll want to make: A plate or pan for storing your food or utensils.
A baking sheet.
A plastic bag for storing utensics or small dishes.
A serving spoon or bowl for serving a meal.
A napkin for storing and eating.
